Turbo Clean

The original! Pioneered by California Pools, this system was installed in thousands of pools built by them during the 1960's and 1970's. This was cutting edge technology and innovation that set California Pools apart as a leader in swimming pool construction. Many improvements have been made since the days of the Turbo Clean, but the cleaning concept remains the same. If you have a Turbo Clean system in your pool, you may want to consider upgrading your cleaning heads to a new retrofit cleaning head. This flush fit head can be installed directly into your existing fixture cone in the plaster of the pool. To remove your old style cleaning head, place a large screwdriver into both sides of the head and twist to remove. The retrofit head locks into the fixture cone with a bayonet feature. Internal parts for the water valve are sold individually.
